Over the past 6 years I have been heavily engaged in many lab practicals and acquired key skills including:

• Semi-automation pipetting

• Recombinant DNA

• Using a centrifuge

• Electrophoresis

• Sterile human anatomy lab etiquette

• Culturing bacteria

• Aseptic techniques

• Preparing, staining and mounting slides for a light microscope 

• Experience with an electron microscope

• Electrode stimulation of cockroaches

• Analysis techniques such as T-test, regression models, and correlations

I have developed competent skills in analysing my results with excel and MATLAB. I also have plenty of experience presenting my results in the form of reports, presentations and posters.
